L Family - Kingman, AZ Family Photographer

The L Family has journeyed with BellaMi Photography from just about day one of our established business.  We met the L family when their daughter was just hours old.  We have had the honor of shooting H's first birthday, then again when mom was pregnant with their second (a boy) and then again when little "I" was born.  It has been a blessing to have them part of our journey...for us to watch them grow and for the L Family to watch us grow as photographers.

TRYING TO GET OUT OF A PROCESSING RUT – KINGMAN, AZ FAMILY AND CHILD PHOTOGRAPHERS

Not only is it easy to get into a rut with your shooting…but also your processing. I am trying to find “my style” and trying new techniques that move me. I have always loved the hazy, soft light, higher exposure captures…but have always been afraid of it. I have been afraid of going over the top with it and making TOO soft, TOO bright..TOO whatever. But we have to grow and have to evolve, or we stay in that rut. So, with the help of some AMAZING professional photogs at Clickin’ Moms, I am breaking free from my rut! Here are two recent shots of Miss Boo. I waited until I had the thumbs up from some of the ladies over at CM..lol

I am pleased with them and I am pleased with myself for finally taking my processing in a new direction…even if it *is* a tad scary
